Bute House Streetlights

Bute House on Charlotte Square, the West End of Edinburgh’s counterpart to St Andrew’s Square, is the official residence of Scotland’s First Minister.

Like many buildings in the city, the wrought iron work is a significant feature. Here, like many of our grand squares and crescents, the original streetlights are a distinctive feature. You can see the same just off Princes Street in front of Ramsay Garden.
