These three derelict cranes sit on overgrown rails which run the length of what’s now Stevedore Place. On close inspection, you can see the ‘Industrial Giraffes limited edition’ is a particularly long exposure.
What gives away that little detail is the start of star trails to the left of the picture.
This signed 12×16″ edition is restricted to ten copies. As with most of my Artist’s Editions, these are giclée fine art prints on 300gsm watercolour paper; each is then sealed with a UV-resistant satin varnish spray.
Today, these cranes sit next to the car park for the casino. Looking more closely you can see a few broken panes of glass in the crane cabs. And, quite some corrosion on the meccano-like structure.
These prints are sufficiently detailed each takes over an hour to print.

You should always mount works behind glass. And, avoid any materials which might leech the colours. Getting a print professionally mounted and sealed into a frame will significantly extend its lifetime.
